Hi!
I am thinking of building a light duty rear rotary tiller for my YM2000. I am thinking of using a fairly heavy duty Snapper front tine tiller as the starting point. I have one in real good shape - except I ran it out of oil and fried the engine.
So I am thinking of adding a 90 degree gearbox and extending the tines to be wider than the wheels (4 feet). Ya - I know - the tiller has a 7 hp motor and I want to use 20 PTO HP. I think if I use my head and don't till the driveway it will hold up. It is belt driven so it has the safety net of belt slippage if it gets in too deep.
I would make a TPH frame to add on. What I need is a line on where to get a 20 HP right angle gear box to power it.
Any ideas, help, comments or rude noises?
Greg
