Ok I will admit that this might be going a little far out. I am a huge South Carolina Gamecock fan. I have always wanted a rooster (Game Cock) like Sir Spur. I live on 13 acres of land and have horses and dogs so I am not a stranger to animals. My questions are; does anyone know what kind of rooster Sir Spur is? He is big and colorful. I would like to raise one from a chic but no idea what to look for. Below is pic of Sir Spur if it helps to identify breed.

No I am not it to or ever will be into\interested in cock fighting.

In South Carolina there are game cocks all over the place. You can spot them by looking for one chicken pens in people yards. They sometimes have ten or twenty of them. The floor space on these pens is around 4 square feet. Just drive through the country and when you see the pens stop and ask the owner where you can buy a male chick or, ask your neighbors. Note: If you live in a high classed gated community, the second option might not work. :D

Ive raised chicken before 100-125 at a time but never had a rooster that crowed all day long gets old fast.
