I store my tractors in a barn. Warming them for 10 minutes would create a hazardous level of exhaust fumes. I have to move them immediately after starting. Once outside, I let them warm for a few minutes before putting them under load. It's rarely 10 minutes though, unless it's in the single digits.
I'm not sure why they are concerned about warming the transmission oil though. The Kubota SUDT has the viscosity of water.
