Warning Lamps - LK3054?

I had a warning lamp come on on my LK 3054 this AM. Unfortunately, the ownwers manual for this model is somewhat rudimentary and does not explain what all the lamps indicate. The one in question is the one to the immediate right of the lighting bolt and is a sort of rectangle with a circle in the middle. What does this light indicate? Sorry to ask such an elementary question.

Brakes? On my Ck the only light fitting your description is the brake light. It is a circle with vertical lines on both sides. The battery light is a rectangle that looks like a battery.

That may be the oil pressure light. Mine shows a square with what looks like a drop of oil with two arrows poining in towards the middle. The other one it might be is the water level, mine is again square, but has the same pic as on the temp gauge. My oil pressure l;ight started coming on receintly too.

I would have to agree with the coolant level assessment; that seems to be what I've found in the "Owner's Manual", such as it is And what's up with these "low oil pressure" reports on 3054's? Seeme to be epidemic; I hope mine doesn't catch it

It is the alternator light indicator. If you increase the RPMs does it dim out? Start it and put a meter across the battery terminals. It should read 13-14 amps. If you don't have a meter, you can start it, loosen the negative battery cable and remove it while it is running. If it shuts down, the alternator is not working. Let us know how you make out.

Sorry for the first reply, I was in a hurry or I can simply blame my ADD reading skills .

Rereading your question (properly this time), it is certainly the coolant level indicator.

Mine has come on in the past and each time the culprit turned out to be the cap on the overflow reservoir which somehow popped open. I refilled it with fresh fluid and was good to go.
