Anyone know what the power train warranties are on 04 up diesel trucks. I am looking to buy a Ford (250, 350) or Chevy (2500, 3500), and this will help my decision.
Thanks
Thanks

My dad went through this same thing with a 1999 S-10 Blazer and the beloved 4.3L. It took 6 months and two lawyers but he got the engine replaced to only have the transfer case fail 2 months later.

I also feel like if there is an aftermarket part on it anywhere, it was run hard for some reason or another. I am really looking at a 06 ford. I know that it has the 6.0L, but after reading all the other topics in this forum about them, it is a hit or miss. It seams the later years for the 6.0L are better. This will be my first diesel, so I thought I would ask about the warranty only because a Google search brings a ton of other stuff up. I am thinking that it is 7y, 100,000 miles (for a ford).
I would only buy a Chevy if it had an Allison trans behind it.![]()
