Good morning ,
I own a 2400h , 1 year old , bought IT new . I really like my dealer but I have read that the dealer will come pick up if IT is fault of Branson Factory . One of my tie rod ends was put on with only 3 threads holding IT on and IT stripped out and fell off , the other side was threaded all the way in with to the Max with all threads holding . I sent pictures to my dealer and they said this was not put on right. They said bring IT in they want to make sure all stearing on front END OK . I live about 138 miles from shop , they said if they come pick IT up they will have to charge me ? I have read in some threads that the dealer will pick up if warrenty issue , am I wrong ? Thanks Dan

What you may have read on here or elsewhere means NOTHING unless you have it in writing from the dealer when you purchased it.
1) If you have it, find that paperwork that says dealer picks up and returns to you for FREE if warranty related.
2) Dealer must agree that the fix is warranty related.

138 miles each way is a long way for the dealer to tow his trailer, load, chain down and haul back to his shop. Then fix the problem and return it to you.
Roughly, at 65 MPH it would take just over 2 hours each way. Figuring in travel time one way plus wear and tear on truck / trailer plus fuel plus drivers wages. Including extra time for chaining down and unchain upon arrival the dealer or his driver will have close to a 6 hour day involved and would have to do it twice.

If it was mine I'd clean up the threads if possible and reinstall it myself the right way making sure each tie rod end is threaded in far enough and set the toe-in.
If the stripped end can't be fixed ask the dealer if he will send you the new end. You could do this job yourself or pay a local shop to do it. Shouldn't take more than an hour.

Last choice would be borrow a trailer and chains and haul it yourself. If dealer charges you each way its not going to be cheap.

I asked the same dealer before I bought my 3725 from them and they told me it is up to me to bring it in if it ever needs warranty work. Or they would ship me warranty parts if I pay for shipping. I'm 250 miles away. I had them deliver the tractor and paid extra for that as I'm well outside their normal delivery range. The extra cost was pretty reasonable. Between trailer rental and travel expenses it cost me more than that to go get a backhoe from them not long ago.

If you're comfortable working on steering and setting alignment it should not be too hard to fix yourself but that's not getting a pro to check it.

Hey guys
I have read some threads and I do understand now how IT Works ,since IT was a Factory mess up and warrenty issue .I thought Branson may cover IT for the dealer, just because I bought a GMC pickup doesn`t mean if IT has a problem they will come Get IT . And AS I stated I really like my dealer they are a good group of hard working men , I did Ask him to send me the part and I would install . The shop forman wanted to look and inspect all the steering up front to be sure nothing was damaged, I was appreciative of the fact that they were concerned , given the distanse I have had a few Odd ball parts shipped that I installed and I do all my own fluid changes and maintenance ,Thanks Dan

Branson warranty DOES NOT cover mileage or pickup/delivery. So it's completely up to the dealer weather or not they will do it for free or charge a fee.

I am not aware of any warranty that covers pickup and delivery.

My LS dealer agreed to it but he is only 50 miles away.

Does the dealer have mobile service guy? If he does that would be about the second cheapest way to go. The cheapest being they supply the parts and you do the work.
