How many times a year? I plan on giving mine a good wash this fall after the final brush hog. I guess I would say once a year, same for my attachments, going to clean them once a year after the season is over.

If I do work in dusty conditions, I spray the tractor down after use. I've only had mine about 10 months so I still like to keep it looking decent. I have only taken soap it once and that was to wash the wash the black soot off of the FEL from the exhaust.

I overdo it. Just about every time a dusty, dirty, or muddy job is done the particular tractor is power washed. Then all of the Zerks get a greasing. The total is variable but the average per tractor is probably 25 times a year. On some jobs it is once a day until the tractor is parked for several weeks.

Like gwdixon i overdo it. I wash me deere whenever i get it dirty. Then once a month i will take the loader off, and get really deep into it and wash EVERYTHING!

If you keep your tractor indoors, as I do, eventually you figure out putting a dirty tractor away in a clean garage, barn or shop only brings more dirt in. Then you have to clean it up anyway. So, it's kind of "Clean the tractor now, or the shop later... take your pick." It's just easier to keep the tractor clean.

I like to keep the 2520 clean, but this year, I kind of gave up. We're 3-something inches ahead of normal on rainfall and the thing looks like a pig after every use. If I think it'll stay dry for awhile, then I'll wash it, but otherwise, for this year at least, she's staying covered in mud...

I like clean machinery. I don't mind getting equipment dirty, but cleaning in my opinion is part of the usage. Even my lawnmowers are kept clean, with clean oil. Easier to maintain when clean, and easier to detect issues. My 1994 chevy truck looks brand new, even the engine compartment.

I spray any dust/dirt off before it goes in the garage. Any mud is washed off the tires and bucket. Also, any leaves or grass clippings are sprayed off or blown off the mower/other implement.
That's about it.
