Would someone be kind enought to tell me HOW you add liquid to rear tires? I have one with straight water and needs antifreeze and the other tire has nothing. Is there an adapter for a hose or a gizmo that allows pumping fluid? Must take a long time, the stem is pretty small......

I used one of these:

Air/ Water Adapter (#20073) - Repairing a flat tire? Slime Tire & Tube Sealant

You can get them at Tractor Supply for about $7. I cut a length of old hose, threaded the adapter on one end and rigged a large funnel on the other end and used that to pour the antifreeze in the tires. You will have to "burp" the air out of the tire after every gallon or two. Just dump the contents of the funnel/hose into a clean container and wait for the air to escape, and hit it again. Dump the container in at the end and you're good.

Then when I was done with that step I hooked the adapter to my garden hose and filled the tire up with water. The adapter has a little valve button on the side for burping the air out, but instead of holding it with my fingers I used a vice grip and lightly clipped it on there and just waited for the air to escape (you could just unhook the hose but I didn't want to mess with doing that). Then I just turned the hose back on again. You'll know it's full when you go to burp the air out and water comes out. Works but it's time consuming. I tried a drill pump and it was slower than my garden hose method.

P.S. Jack the tire you are working on off the ground so you don't break the bead. You probably already know that but I didn't want to leave that out....

Thank you, Ted. I got the adapter, now I just need the time. And thanks about the jacking to protect the bead. Appreciate it.

Just to play it safe, when you jack up your tire, only take the weight off of the tire but leave the tire juuust touching the ground. You should have no problems when filling your tires in this manor. Oh, and you should have the valve stem at the top.
