As luck would have it I was getting fuel before the hurricane hits and I got water in my ck30. I had just filled the tractor up and cranked it. I was heading across my property when it began sputtering. Upon further investigation I have found the new fuel had water in it. I had unhooked one of the top lines and when I bumped the key could see it come out. I unhooked the bottom line and drained about a gallon or so of the fuel until it was straight diesel coming out of the line. What do I need to do now to get it going? I have never had an issue with water before.

You need to get the air out of all the lines from the tank, through the filter to the injection pump. Usually that's done with the bleeder screw( or bolts) on the filters. I would also change the filter(s) at this point. Then you need to bleed the injectors to get all the water and air out. You do that by cracking the nut on the injector line for each cylinder at the injector , either one at a time or all at once. Crank the engine til eack nuts leaks fuel out. Then tighten the nuts and crank til it starts. Your battery has to be in good shape before you start doing this.

When you get it going try to find some HOWES fuel treatment. Many of us use it in our trucks, this will take care of any residual water in your tank and clean your fuel system.

Thanks for the replies. I have been away for awhile due to IKE getting us. In the end I had to completely drain the tank and change a filter. I now believe I was sabotaged. I had the tractor at my new house being built when the trouble began. I had noticed a few drops of something on my paint that removed the paint. I have since learned my plumbing in my concrete slab had had nails poured into every one of them followed by pvc glue in an attempt to ruin my new slab. The glue matched the substance on my tractor. Seems as though I have a neighbor who doesn't want me to build.

Nothing a good dose of barbed wire and killer pitbull can't fix.

Takes a true coward to do what your neighbor has done.

Payback is a *****.

Would be great to get him on night vision video.

Good luck
