Hello-
I had water get in my transmission through the shifter so I pulled all the transmission plugs and let my tractor drain for several hours. I made sure the 3-point was down too. When there was no more oil dripping out I filled it back up with tractor fluid.
Since my lawnmower broke and I don't have a mower for the Yanmar I decided to use my tandem disc to "mow" the 4 foot tall "lawn"
The tractor got nice and warmed up. I checked the transmission fluid when I was done and it was a bit milky, but not even close to what it was.
Will the water eventually evaporate through the vent or do I need to do another drain and fill? I'm not too worried about it, but since this is the first tractor I have had that is somewhat modern I thought I better ask the experts.
Thanks!!
