In the summer heat, you got to have some water. I struggle to find a place on the tractor for a water jug. I have a cupholder but it is useless. What do you guys do?

I don't like cold water, so I put several bottles of water in a hanging bag which I can then put the crushed empties in.

I hang my jug from the fender light. I tie on a makeshift handle with a short piece of rope and use that to hang it with.

The cup holder on the Bobcat fender is a perfect fit for a nalgene bottle and one other off-brand (big) water bottle that I have. They wedge in with just enough force to not bounce out when I'm driving through the woods, but loose enough that I can pull it out and not worry about cracking the cup holder.

I hang my jug from the FEL control lever with the handle on the jug.

I take my "bubba mug" with me full of ice water. It's not the larger version but it's big enough. I took a 2 lb coffee can and cut out a slot running from the top to almost the bottom. This allows the handle of the mug to slide in to it. I covered the sharp edges with some protector material that comes on band saw blades. I then screwed it to the area of the tractor body that is just below the seat. Works pretty good. When I need a fill up I just find the closest hydrant. In the pic below you can see it just to the left of the seat and tool box. The mug isn't in it though.

I found a cupholder, think at an estate sale, and attached it to the right tower of my FEL. My water container fits nicely in it.

Before, I used to wrap stretch cords around a thermos and attach it to that FEL tower. I'd often lose the thing, luckily never running over it or busting it.

I've got some old mil-surp kit bags that I can normally hang someplace. If its drinking water I can wet the bag first to keep it cool.
We also take plastic coke bottles and half fill them with water, then freeze. When we want to take a cold drink to the bush we top them off with cold water.....Iced water for hours..

I drop a bottle of water between the fender and seat. It stays put. If I am going to be away from the truck for a while I put a cooler in the FEL bucket.

I set it on the fender and strap it to the ROPS with 2 bungee cords - used to use just 1 cord until it came loose one day going down a steep hill and my back tire ran over it. Bad thing was it was very hot that day and I was almost 3 miles from home at a job for a friend - no water for about 3 hours. I learned that day to secure it better !!

Here's my setup--an insulated water bottle holder (0.5 liter size) with magnets to attach it to the expanded metal protection screen I've rigged to the ROPS on my 2008 Mahindra 5525. IIRC I bought it off amazon.com. It'll hold a 1 liter water bottle but half of that size bottle will stick out of the little insulated pouch.

I just fill the bottle with tap water. I find ice water quenches my thirst too quickly--before I get enough water into me to rehydrate. Four years ago while building a shed in Sept (a hot weather month in the North Sac Valley), I made the mistake of drinking ice water all day. Ended up that evening in the ER with an IV in my arm to recover from heat stroke.

I was told by my gastroenterologist that room temperature or slightly cool water was better for you than cold water.

Ive got 2 places

either a carabeener around the FEL control handle.

when i run the ROPS down (which is like always) the extra holes were you bolt the 2 halves together... ive generally got a bungie (or 3) streched across them and tie it (ie put the handle through the bungie) to that.

i made a gatorade bottle holder. out of 3/4" alum flat stock. bolted it to fel control. using the fel mounting bolts. handy to get to on or off the tractor.

I Have a foam coozy type thing that I purchased at Dicks sporting goods, Has a magnet built in and I place it just in front of the seat on my TC35. It works real well and has been kicked of the seat bracket numerous times but the magnet holds it on the platform. will hold water bottles etc. but my favorite is the bottle I use on my Mtn. Bike.
