Or just drain it into a clear glass container. Calcium Chloride solution is milky looking if it has a specified dosing. A drop on the tongue isnt going to hurt you either.

got water out but now I broke the bead on the tire need to call local tire shop for home fix has anyone tried to do this at home should i take the tires off the tractor and bring them in any idea on cost:)

Breaking the bead is the hard part - well, not really. Tractor tires are so easy to work on - they are WAY easier than ATV or motorcycle tires. Absolutely no reason to ever call a pro. You can seat the bead with a strap around the middle of the tire then hit it with pressure (no valve core). However, I think you should put a tube in the tire - they make special tubes with valves that screw off specifically to ease filling with liquid.

Prop the tire beads open then let the tires sit in the sun long enough to dry the liquid out of the inside - blast out with compressed air to speed up the process. When dry, give the inside a good dusting with baby powder, then slip in a tube and inflate. Install, jack, deflate, then fill as desired - done.

If he wants to get most of the water out faster just raise the tire off the ground, place the valve at 6 oclock then add a shot of air to the tire. When it slows to a dribble give it another shot of air. When he starts to get air back out, spin the valve to 12 oclock and start adding WWF, venting the air out as the wwf is pumped in. A slightly diluted mix of water and -40deg wwf works around here to at least -35 F or C....

The reason I ask is I have seen people inquire how to tell the difference.
How can you tell the differece?

As others have said, easiest is to taste a drop or two, and it won't hurt you.
Yeccch - not MY tongue.

There's worse things to taste, Travelover! Years ago, back in the sixties, we were at a cattle auction buying feeders (calves that you feed until they're yearlings and then sell, hopefully for a profit! :D) They would bring the cattle into the auction ring either singly or in small groups and to keep track of them, the Auction House would put stickers on them with Lot Numbers. This one time on a single cow, the number was obscured by cow sh*t, so the helper in the ring went over and rubbed it with his finger to clean it off. He didn't get it clean enough to read like that, so he licked the same finger to wet it and proceeded to wipe it clean enough to read!!!! I kid you not.

I wouldnt go around eating cow patties but we have more to fear from human feces than animal, like cholera which the country I am working in has over 1000 people died from it. Also Haiti is in the news. We are our own worst enemies when it comes to sewage. I am sure everyone who has ever been on a farm has had a little animal manure in the face and we all lived thru it.

Why is it always the city folk (and their pets) who get sick when they come to visit and drink "country water"? When out in the bush we drink from most flowing springs and things but when we go to town we drink bottled water because we can't stand the taste of the chlorine.....
