I found this site on the net that has good prices on the water separating funnels:
www.lakeandair.com
Do a search on their site for funnel.

<font color="green">Looks like you get a better price from Land & Air than ordering directly from the manufacturer. MR FUNNEL http://www.mrfunnel.com/cgi-local/SoftCart.15.exe/online-store/scstore/shophome.html?E+scstore

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I became very interested in this funnel as a result of an earlier post I saw on TBN. My interest increased even more after visiting the manufacturer's web site and learning more about these funnels. The non-conductive variety appears to be carried by Home Depot. The nearest Home Depot is more than 50 miles from where I live but I plan to check them out the next time I am in Indianapolis.

You save about $5.50 on the medium size funnel. Makes sense that the manufacturer would not want to undercut one of his retailers. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

From the FAQ at the Mr Funnel web site...
Q. Can I use the funnel on all fuels and do I need to clean it before I switch?
A. You can use the funnel on all fuels and since the surface doesn't absorb any fuel there is no need for cleaning.

Yep, my brother's customers used them for both diesel and gasoline.

As for the price, I thought maybe they'd just gone up because the company's own web site has higher prices than what my brother used to sell them for on the tool truck. However, like Mike said, I guess they don't want to undercut their dealers. I've found several non-related products to be the same way; I can buy them locally for less than I can order direct from the manufacturer.

Dave, I put diesel through mine. They really work well. I have had a Mr. Funnel for a couple of years now.

I thought the manufacturer of these funnels is Parker/Racor. I figured that Mr. Funnel was just private labeling them and charging a lot more money.....
