Well it's taken years but I'm finally buying a 7x14 V nose enclosed trailer rated for 10K. I presently have an Equal-i-zer hitch rated for 14K and to mount that I'll probably have to put a two small holes for the brackets in the floor of the V.

But I'm open to getting a new WD hitch.

I've read good things about the Andersen hitches.

All etrailer seems to advocate are reese.

Any other advice from TBN?

I've not used the Anderson. I have a couple Curt and 2 or 3 Reese. The Curt is heavy built, but I can't stand them, I won't be buying any more of them. You can't keep the hitch head positioned. I've got the little pin in place that they send with it, crank the tension bolt at the bottom, and cranked the bolts at tights as I can with a 3/4" ratchet and cheater pipe. The head will still slide back and forth. You can feel it slamming while you are driving. Never have had a problem with the Reese doing that. I broke a Reese hitch head once with the camper, totally my fault, wasn't adjusted quite right. Reese sent out a replacement hitch head at no cost. Stay with the Reese.

I have an Andersen on a large pop-up trailer. I really like it. Easy to setup and adjustable. I needed a longer stinger for my setup and they quickly shipped out a new one.
