What A great story. I'll glad to hear everything is fine with the family. I'm with you on the whole blood and guts thing; I'm a real wimp! Luckily for us Nik came by induced labor. I only made it till my wife got the epadural needle thing, that was it for me (funny how the hospital rooms get so warm so quickly).

Delivering your own baby must have to be most ultimate high!

Ok in a relationship there is only one time that you can post a not so good, in terms of the way the mrs is looking at the time, picture. Yes and that is at birth. I would never even think of posting a picture of her without asking first. A key to relationship longevity, when in doubt ask first. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

But I did get in trouble, it wasn't for the picture it was for not posting the stats in the first post. Oh well as you all know I'm far from perfect. But here are the stats

Here is a picture of the crowd of uniforms that appeared that morning.

The first on scene was a state police paramedic that flys in the helicoptors. He was very helpful that morning. But the key is he was on his way to work downstate. It wasn't even his call to go to. Just stopped to help. Now that is a class act. He is in the blue jumpsuit. Not to downplay anyone else. Everyone was helpful. But he went what I feel was over and above the call of duty.

I e-mailed a copy of the event to the state police and hope he gets it. I'm going to follow up to make sure he does.

The Dairy Queen is right next to Mcdonalds. I wanted to name the baby Dairy Mcdonald./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif But the mrs would have nothing to do with that one. I thought it was pretty cool to joke with her about it though.

A little adrenaline now and then is supposed to be good for you, isn't it?

A little is an understatement my heart was pounding a mile a minute. I had been keeping the camera charged up just for the birth, that was the one thing I had to remember to bring to the hospital. Little did I know at the time we would never make it to the hospital before the baby was born and I would be the one doing the birthing.

The Mrs would have shot me if I would have forgotten the camera that morning. So to keep in good graces,,,well you know the rest of the story./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

It was a day that I wouldn't have traded for anything now that it's behind me. While it was happening is another story.

How hard have ya been testing it? The EF-500 that is.

Well the good news all is good with the new baby healthy as can be. We were blessed with another healthy one thank goodness. The bad news is that I'm going to have to change a dirty diaper sooner or later. But so far so good.
