A few pics of the wear strips that I installed on my loader bucket. There was a lot of good info posted in reply to my original post 'Type of steel', regarding what type was best. Since they are now installed I figured a new thread on the wear strips themselves was appropriate. It might be interesting to see what others have done to protect the somewhat thin loader bottom from wear.
I also welded a lip on the back of the bucket that forms a 'V' with the wear strips, this helps protect the loader edge and also acts sorta like a mini cutting edge when back draging.
