So I have been dreaming up all kinds of things to do with my BX1800 (I pick it up tuesday). I figured I wuold have some mowing to do by then. Six days ago here in MN we hit 91°. Today it snowed 5". If this keeps up I'll have to have a belly mower, and snow blower on at the same time!!- Guy

Yep I hear you....

Wednesday I skip work and my better half and I went for a m/c riding all day in 92F temps...even got a slight burn,and yesterday while digging 64 new holes for her potted plants than spreading 50 bags of white stones,I started to freeze my butt..and tomorrow they are calling for snow showers..heck had to light the old wood stove again.

Can you tell us why you chose the BX1800 over the BX2200?

I figure I can put the 400 bucks toward an attachment. I think for what I have to do the 1800 will have plenty of power. Plus the dealer had it in stock and ready. I'm still working on him for a better loader price. He will not give me a price break on loader if I buy with the tractor. $2570.00. It seems other have been able to get a break for buying all at the same time. But to answer your question mainly the money. If I ever want to sell I don't think you can get hurt either way.

What was your price on Tractor, Loader and MMM? I have a seen BX2200 quotes from $12,100 to $12,500. Another person on the board said they got one in southern New Jersey for $11,500.

Carver has a special package of BX2200, FEL, MMM, Tiller, Aerator, and box scraper for $13,695 (no sales tax) (shipping not inculded).

You might be able to use that to wring a couple more dollars out of your dealer on the FEL.

Well its been snowing here{Lebanon,NH} for the last hour an half,and the cold spots are starting to become cover w/snow /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif but the good news is I won't be helping my better half in her new flower garden this evening do to the snow./w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Price for the 1800 with 53" is $9250. Loader $2570.00 That would be $11820.00 for the package. I have checked with Carver, the shipping makes them way high, tractor and mmm was $10450.

Snow???/w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif We had a cool front that dropped our temperature into the low 70s this afternoon./w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif Of course, that was after I had picked onions and radishes, mowed and trimmed the yard, and a few other little chores like that.
