I need to put a new 7 pin plug on the suburban, and was wondering what you guys have found to be the most weather-tight. I have the replace the plug on my truck every couple years because the standard Hopkins 7 pin plug starts to get corroded, even with die-electric grease caked on the pins. Hopkins has one that is gray and seems is supposed to be a little better, but I have not tried it. I can't tell in the package what kind of weather sealing it has. Is there a better plug?

Here is a link to the one I usually use

7 RV Blade (plastic)

this is the "upgraded" one

Endurance? 7 RV Blade

get a dummy plug and keep it plugged in when you dont have the trailer attached so the pins arnt out in the open and are always in contact with the female end.
