I really hate web sites that play sounds /w3tcompact/icons/mad.gif. Not only do they give you away, they can drive you nuts. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif I was reading through TBN and wanted to check something out at the New Holland web site. So I started another IE session and went through the Boomer show, the last page being the SuperSteer demonstation. I left this session up and went back to reading TBN.

Then I hear a faint sound. Is someone using a circular saw? Mute the TV. The sound is still there. Open a window. Is a neighbor building something? Nope. Ah, one of the kids is listening to music, that's where the sound is coming from. Nope. Oh geez, the sound is coming from my laptop. Great! The hard drive is dying. So I put my ear up next to where the hard drive is. Darn. The hard drive is making noise. It's only after my blood pressure shoots up that I remember the Boomer web site with the <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.newholland.com/na/Products/supersteer.html>SuperSteer</A> tractor turning in circles! Close the web site and my hard drive stops making noise. Amazing! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

I hate em for real! Can't even check the Carver site from work because of the sound. Let's everyone in the office know I'm checking out the Internet. Worse yet, the mute sound button on his site doesn't work! Sure I could turn off the volume, but that would mute the legitimate sounds generated by workflow.

Guess I just have to work at work /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

Pete, amen on the Carver site's music! I love the site for the information contained there, even for those of us that don't own a Kubota, but the music... /w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif

Ouuuuuuhch!

You fellows sure know how to hurt an old old man that loves his memories and his music !
TURN UP THOSE SPEAKERS and GET A LIFE !!

This one's for Ms. Jenny, my bride -> http://carverequipment.com/Photo_tour.htm

This one's to help the GREAT GREEN MOUNTAIN COFFEE kick in about 9 am and get you headed down the hall to the reading room.....http://carverequipment.com/ncmap.htm

This one's pretty darn neat when you consider all the task at hand... http://carverequipment.com/implements_landpride.htm ..... I know, it is hard to do this one -- with the boss at the office -- loooking over your shoulder... the BASS is a little.. bold.

AND SHUCKS! I was just now searching for a great tune to help present the new FIRST CHOICE IMPLEMENTS section.... Maybe First Love, I'm too sexy or Achy Breaky Heart ?

I'll bet this post will generate no less than 20 suggestions of readers favorite tunes with the midi's attached to my address.

After five years now ..... the count is still about 1000s -- I Love It to 55 I hate it.

The 55 of those HATE ITs -- prompted me to remove most of the music last year, about 10 pages, but we left about 7 pages of our 1200+ with tunes.

I got 2 thank you notes and over 30 request to post new music.

And speaking about folks --singing tunes----
I visited a good friend with a new OTHER ORANGE TRACTOR the other day... I will be the first to say ... they are very impressive and I have seen no reason to consider them less than a very worthy competitor.
Different strokes -- for -- different FOLKS...
There's apples and thens there are ORANGES...
The mower the Better...
Ut Oh ... Is that some more tunes coming up?

IS IT NOT WONDERFUL? That we have so little to worry about in this GREAT LAND on a Friday Morning?

Well, here's exactly where I stand!
Some of my friends love the tunes.
And
Some of my friends hate the tunes.
------
I STAND WITH MY FRIENDS!

Darn! It is easier to pick tunes than tractors.
I bet we all can agree on that.

Love ya all - tunes or not,
Have a happy and safe weekend on all those RED, BLUE, GREEN, ORANGE and Beautiful Carver SOLD ORANGE tractors .... new or with faded paint.

Steve

If any one had the nerve and time to read all this stuff..
