I have a Weed Eater model GBI 30V blower that will not stay running.
When I got it ( free ) it would crank and run great but would sputter and would cut off.
The carb only has on adjustment. I turned it to get the right mix and think I wound up getting it totally out of whck.
Turns out the sputtering was because the fuel line had rotted. I put on a new fuel line but cannot get it to run right.
The book says to turn the mix screw until it stops. Start the engine and adjust until it runs smooth.
I cannot get the motor to start unless I back the screw out about 1-1/2 turns. It will run great at full throttle but will die if I let off and then accelerate.
Any ideas or suggestions on setting the mix ?
Please help.
Thanks !
