Weed eater / trimmer Drive Shaft Housing Assembly

So QQ i have a Husqvarna weed eater that is not worth fixing. Its a 132R straight shaft model. I was looking to repurpose the shaft into a walking stick since i am going to ebay the good parts. There appears to be some bushings down the shaft but i am unfamiliar with how to remove them. Does anyone have any knowledge on the subject they would like to share?

I'd probably go hacksaw or cutter on rotary tool. I'm not subtle though.

I dont want to destroy the tube and the bushing are down inside the tube of the shaft housing. I am looking to drop the weight down some more if they are easy to remove but if not they are not hurting anything.
