Weight front increasing

Hello From Belgium,

I look for pictures or sketchs of support to increase the weight in front of tractor. I have a old Fendt Farmer 2 and this model does not have support.

Does anybody have manual or technical information about the Fendt Farmer 2 (MWM KD10,5)?

yes i want to add weight to the front of my tractor.
(Oui je veux augmenter l' adhérence du train avant de mon tracteur. Lorque j'attache ma faucheuse, le tracteur a tendance à se cabrer.)

From the other pictures I've seen, it looks like you're missing some sort of mounting bracket or hitch.

However, I don't know if this is for pulling or for mounting front attachments.

I would say that missing piece looks more like some kind of pulling connection than a weight carrier.

I'm not completely certain, but that front axle looks like the halves move. If not, you could attach a framework to the axle for weights. Otherwise, you'll need to find a way to attach to the frame of the tractor.

What is wrong with taking a piece of steel with a hole in it, drilling a couple holes from one side into the hole, putting bolts from the hole into the drilled holes and mounting it using the two bolt pattern that is there?
Or if you want, use studs with nuts to hold it on.
Depending on how much weight you want, a couple hundred would be possible like that.
I wouldn't think more than a couple hundred would be advisable for a tractor of that size on those bolts. Might want to consider turning a smaller diameter on the bolts as a shear factor, just so if you bump something it at an angle it will break the bolts and not the casting.
We broke a Duetz casting one time and it was no fun getting it fixed.

That is an excellent idea.Haven't heard that one in a while.
