Weighted tires vs Non Weighted tires

/ Weighted tires vs Non Weighted tires #11
Lifting a heavy load with the FEL makes it front heavy while moving stuff around without loaded tires. Yes, it leaves ruts in the lawn but I don't mow with it.
I had the tractor for a week with turf tires on it before the dealer came and installed loaded R4's. I couldn't believe the difference with lifting things.
I much prefer loaded.
Oh, and a much lower center of gravity!

If you would like, I would be more than happy to haul my tractor over to your place and show you how quickly I can rut up your property! And my tires are NOT loaded. If you load your tires you can plan on parking your tractor during mud season unless you would like to spend bug season filling in the ruts!

All kidding aside, there are times I wish I could fill my tires with helium. I much prefer removable weight. You can always add more when you need it.

Good luck.

I'll take wheel weights and counter balance weights to offset the load on the front axle when loaded anyday.[/QUOTE]

My little B7200 has loaded turfs. I can imagine dealing with a loaded large tire.

I use custom weights on my L39 rears that fill both offsets and add over 800 Lbs.

I have weight on frame and in the loader bottom x tubes.
