I had a weird delayed shift with my L4200GST - it only happened once, and I don't think it's a big deal, but with the 2700 hours on the tractor, you never know. I was pulling a gauge-wheeled landscape rake on my driveway - I was admittedly getting antsy and pushing too fast, cruising along in 5th on a flat, but pulling a decent pile of stuff on the rake so the tractor was under a load. I did a no-clutch bump into 6th (first road gear) and nothing happened - no shift. There was a good 5 second delay or better, than **FOOM** the shift happened. It startled me and I dropped it right back down into 5th, which shifted immediately, and nothing bad happened after, but it still made me nervous. I figured that the tranny was under load, which bound the old gear until there was a slight break in the load, allowing the shift to happen. I don't know what is in a GST transmission or how one works, but it seems plausible. Sound OK?
