Since I like my MX5100HST so much I've been toying with the idea of getting another smaller Kubota tractor for the mowing and snowblowing duties. Found this local with lowish hours (1000) and at the right price so I jumped. I'd like to think it was a sweet deal but time will tell. 82 B7100HST with a 60"deck. Now I need to find a front mount snowblower and the electric clutch pto for it so I can sell my Deere.

Had to mow with it as soon as I got home and it's MUCH faster and smoother than my old Deere GT225 but they're not even in the same league. Thrilled to have it, hopefully I can track down this snowblower etc so that I can keep it!

Nice older Kubota. I've also kicked around the idea of getting an older, smaller Kubota for mowing duties.

Nice find. I looked at one similar to that a few months ago and never pulled the trigger, but was sorely tempted.

You got yourself working mule for sure.
Only draw back B7100 every had was no power steering, which would have been nice when useing front attachments.

Yea, I have to have a blower to do the driveway before I can unload my Deere. If I can't find something I'll have to sell this, so I'll figure something out!

I spent some time with it over the weekend, cleaning it up making sure everything worked etc. Oil pressure light didn't work, neither did the headlights so I fixed both of those. The headlights had a torn up wire causing a short, and the oil pressure sender wire is broken somewhere in the harness, so i just ran a new wire. I also tested oil pressure with a gauge when i first noticed it didn't work, happy to report it makes great pressure even hot. I'm also a little paranoid about it overheating since it doesn't have a water pump. Alot of the fins on the radiator were bent over (previous owner ran without screen) so I spent some time straightening as many as I could get to, and also flushed the cooling system with stuff we use in the diesel world called RESTORE PLUS. It's from Cummins and it works really good at flushing contaminants etc. https://www.cumminsfiltration.com/pdfs/product_lit/emea_brochures/LI33024-GB.pdf Cooling system is / was in good shape, didn't get anything worth mentioning out in the flush. I'm running Detroit Diesel Power Cool coolant because it's what I had laying around that was diesel rated. Really hope I can find something for a front mount blower, I love this thing so far. Here's a few pics of it home.

Hopefully you can find a blower for it. It's a neat little tractor, I need to find one like it for my grass cutting work.

Yea I just changed the oil on it yesterday. I love servicing old stuff, I'd really hate to get rid of it I love it more every time I get on it. Hopefully my box o parts comes from Messicks today so I can finish the complete service and also fix the few things that needed fixin. I think I love it so much because it's so **** ugly.
