Welders: I need your opinion!

Vertical Down Stick Weld- That's the least strong weld to be made.
Maybe they will add more when it's laid out. ???

I agree. Not a very good looking weld. And definitely what we used to call "down hand". Someone should have at least removed the paint in the area to be welded before welding so that the finished weld would not be as porous as this one looks to be. It should also have been wire brushed and painted when completed, otherwise it's sure to rust.

The picture isn't great but I'm in the not good weld crowd. It looks full of porosity.
