Welding a bucket extension on my Kubota BX2660

My woodworking projects allow me to fill my mistakes with putty or add fasteners, wheras welding requires better finesse.......I need to work on finesse!!!!!! , because it is not as easy to just go cut another piece of steel when you ruin one.

Oh no, no, no! I'd rather stick something sharp in my eye than work with wood. Wood has way too much personality, steel has none. I can make steel do what ever I want. Wood has a mind of it's own.:thumbdown:

Same here, I measure three times, and it still comes out wrong. (bad,bad wood)
I think it's my tape measure.

Looks good. Just be aware that if you use it on wood chips they may wedge between the original bucket and the extension and make it harder to remove.

BTW I am pretty handy with wood but still learning with metal. ( that's why I hang out here so much)

Ditto... Enjoy wood but this metal thing is opening up a whole reason to build a living area in my garage! :laughing:
