Wear a bandana over your mouth to deflect your breath downward. I used this regularly when welding outdoors in winter. MikeD74T

Just get some Fog-X by the makers of rain-X it's an anti-fog product that works. I've used it on the inside of my snowmobile helmet so I'm sure it will work with the welding helmet. http://www.rainx.com/frame_auto_new.htm

This is an amusing thread. jrlichina has given the logical answer. Holding your breath, breathing thru your nose, tilting your head, using a fan, etc., etc., are just distractors from the task at hand. Welding takes concentration. Fog-X your helmet and focus. :)
