I may have gotten this off TBN, and sorry if it's duplication, but with so many "Newbies" in the art, I thought a reposts was in order! I'm a 'Lincoln' guy, but rods are rods, and amperage is amperage! This link is a computer interactive application, but I just ordered the 'cards' for Mig, and Stick, that I'll attach to the respective Machines. For a buck and a half each, it may help me when I go weeks, between projects........~Scotty

Miller certainly has some great information on their site.
But I have eleven different machines, and they all run just a little differently. So I mark on the face plate, and even keep a small binder with different joint prep, root gap, root face, and wall thickness with different size, and type of rods for each machine. Just way too much to try and remember.
