Have you problems with your Nortrac/Yuchai Dozer? It looks like most of the owner's have problems. I've seen a couple for sale with about 100 hours use in the 7k to 10K range. I am considering one for occasional grading but I see a lot of suggestion to by a small Konatsu D21 or Mitsubishi bd series dozer. Have you used one of these for comparison?

Ironically I have not, but I have operated almost all Caterpillar dozers through D9.
The Komatsu D21/22. Mitsubishi BD2G's, JD350, and Yuchai DH326 all fall in the same general weight/horsepower category. The Case 550, JD450, Cat D3, etc. are larger and heavier.
There is a certain demographic that purchases the Yuchai dozer, and therein lies a great part of the issues: They are usually inexperienced first time dozer owner/operators. Some will purchase them to do a particular job and then sell it (these will have little, if any, maintenance performed on them). Some may find they need a larger dozer and want to move up.
I'm coming up on 600 hours on mine and have had no problems that I haven't asked for. I have also done many mods to enhance it's versatility. Of all of the dozers mentioned above, Yuchai is the only one that comes with a category-1 three point hitch.
