Re: a recent wheel seal leak i had in another thread. I bought the tractor 1 1/2 yrs ago from some mickey mouse part-time mahindra dealer in KY. nightmare place. Highland Rim Tractor is much farther and with having to have it trailered there and back - sounds like a hobbit story - eh? ---- well i called the for the 50 hr. service and the leak. They found bad terminals to battery and replaced under warranty which they didn't have to. corroded. They said it takes about 3 weeks or so due to all of the service they have at this time of the year and i said fine - just get it there and get me in line and great. they picked it up late on Friday 6/3/16 and saturday the next day was fully serviced and parts ordered for the wheel seal leak. today - the 14 they called and are delivering it to me. They added a magnetic block heater to it too while they had it in the shape for the really cold days it would not start and i had to plow. not like up north but the times i do and did need it now that should hopefully help. I have to say I am most impressed and wanted to add a little comment on the forums - Mods/admins move if needed.
In addition the day before i caught the wheel seal leak my garden tractor axle broke, my tiller engine blew and i have carb issues on my chipper.... so they went beyond the call of duty.
The local co-op who i have known for over 20 yrs. still hasn't even looked at my garden tractor issue.
Had to cut 1 acre with a push mower in close to 100 degree weather.
So the people at Highland Rim Tractor are great people and a great dealership! gave the head service guy a $20 tip just as a litle thank you!
i believe they are located in Goodletsville, tn --- North of nashville.
sorry for the hectic post - harvesting all am and waiting for the delivery!
