I just stumbled across this BBS .
By way of introduction, I am a former Canuck farmboy, come citified engineer, come acreage owner currently living abroad as an ex-pat on the border of Europe and Asia.
At one time or another, I have operated approximately 8 different models of crawler dozers, 4 JD tractors, 5 MH/MF ag tractors, 3 MM ag tractors, 1 MF industrial loader, 2 Case Ag tractors, 1 Farmall, 2 wheel hoes, 4 track hoes, 4 lawn tractors, and have shop built 1 tractor unit from scratch following plans from Cadplans and a partially complete mini dozer.
At the moment I hold title to 1 Sears lawntractor, 1 JD lawn tractor, a Farmall H, a MM G1000, a Tafe D35, an MF 255, the Cadplans unit, and the partially completed minidozer. The next build planned is to be a wheel dozer or a hydrostat unit. Probly right after the rebuild of an ancient McConnel Powerarm 3 pt hoe.
I have built or modified a 3pt hoe, box blade, plow, rear blade, 3 pt hitch boom, 10 bale stook fork, and assorted trailers and drawn equipment of various and assorted sizes.
Back home, I have reasonably well equipped shop I am pining for during my longer term overseas assignment. Currently, I have a few basic tools and no dedicated shop.
