Once again, I want to thank all of you for the valuable information that was provided to me through this forum. This is my first compact tractor and I couldn't have done it without you, I actually feel very good about the decision.
I visited three dealers today, two kubota and one new holland. One of the kubota dealers really turned me off, the salesman/owner was very abrupt and I don't think he thought I was serious abut buying a tractor, maybe he was having a bad day, besides he was $ 3,100.00 more than the others and didn't have a the tractor to test drive to boot, so it came down to either the nh tc40d or the kubota 3830hst. Both salesman were great, they each spent over an hour with me, explained everything from a-z, even gave me a tour of their facility and the two tractor setups were the exactly same price. My head was spinning and I couldn't decide. Both tractor are excellent, I felt more comfortable with the kubota dealer, it was a larger dealership and they do house calls for service, no need for a trailer.
With the extra money I saved, I'm thinking of buying a garage/shed to store my new baby. They told me the weight was not an issue as long as the base was level, the floor would be 4x4, 12" o/c. Will it hold the weight ?
Thanks again
Kubota 3830hst, LA723 FEL with toothbar, BH90 Backhoe, 6" Bushhog w/slip clutch, 7" rock rake w/gauge wheels
