I have looked at kubota and MF and ruled them out.
Then I looked at a jd 4325 with loader and MFWD he gave me a price of $36,300 F12/R12 and a few other options This estimate was without forks and canopy allowed me $3000 for MF

Finally the new holland dealer got back to me
TN75 4WD
Loader quick attach bucket
extra gas tank
canopy top
and a set of forks
$34,000
allowed me $5000 for my MF

So I filled out the credit app today also I think the financing on New Holland
right now is 5.9 for 6 years. I will need to order one more remote looked at
new brush and it requires two remotes.

To be honest it was more then the price that made me pick new holland.
IT is the confort level with the dealer and being able to work with you.
We alll want to get the most for our dollars as they are hard earned and
do not go far. But what some of the dealer ships must understand is
they are selling them selves and a service. Not just a hunk of Iron! The bottom line most people will go with someone they are confortable with.
I feel the new holland dealer is someone I will want to do business with for sometime, as more then likely when I get this tractor paid down I will go for
a cab model. Getting tired of heat and cold.
But it is not enough to just offer the best price, you have to have somebody you can work with and TRUST!
Well enough said on that subject

I added the dealer support into my purchase equation also, and have been very happy with the sum. After reading your post several weeks ago, I stopped by a Kubota dealer, that had a 7040 sitting out on the lot. I climbed aboard, and noticed that my 5' 10" frame was a bit tight to the pedals. I went to adjust the seat back and found that it was all the way back. Then when the oppertunity presented itself I climbed aboard a NH TN75. What a difference. That is a big tractor. The Kubota felt about as large as my TC48, but the TN75 was a huge step up. A real tall Ag number. I personally find the NH ergonomics fit me like a glove, and I gues they should. The average American male is I believe to be 5' 10" tall. Glad you found a good fit also. The Deeres are impressive also. I've climbed on all those 5000 series also. Those Deere machines are built well also. I fell hunched over on many of the Kubotas, not all, but most. No explaination, just my body fit I guess. I paid more for my NH over others, but felt I got the one that fit me best also. I like the TN75 very much, but it's just too darn huge for my place. That's one big horse there. You are lucky to have the room to wheel that beauty around.

I had the same experience. Kubotas are great tractors. But they did not fit my 6'2" frame. The TN 70A is big and fits wonderfully. And it is a brute. I had a horizontal exhaust installed to replace the vertical. Now it fits in my barn. I have 15 acres and even though the machine is big, I have the space to use it. The power shuttle tranny is so nice. I love loping along at 1300 rpm in 5th gear, then give it some throttle and get to 2000 RPM with no muss of fuss. Move to 3rd gear, approach a pile of stuff, FEL lowered, give some throttle when engaging the pile, hit 1800 rpm and then done. I can then back out and carry the stuff in the bucket at 1300 rpm in 4th or 5th gear with no hassle of 2000 rpm with the noise and fuel consumption issues. If I need a bit more speed in 5th gear, add a touch more throttle (1600 rpm) and life is good. I can even let up and move along at 1100 rpm in 5th with no hassle. It helps that my torque peak is at 1400 rpm. I love all the torque at such an easy RPM range.

Hope it is obvious how much I like the TN. Big and brutal. Can move along at 1300 rpm and then hit 2200 rpm no sweat when the extra fuel consumption is justified., then back to 1200 rpm when moving along in a higher gear. Sweet!

Its funny because I felt the TN75 I looked at was a bit cramped in the cab and was very low, unlike a full on ag tractor. I know they have many tire options though, maybe that impacted my impression of size. I was comparing an M6800 with cab to the TN75D both on the same dealers lot.

I really liked the NH8160's cab, it had all kinds of room and a jumpseat. Huge jump in price though.

You will like the TN75 alot -

I also chose the TN over others you mentioned, for very similar reasons

Kubota - too cramped, especailly with the gears between the legs - I like the TN open platform and addl. seat room for my 6'3" 260lbs of blue twisted steel

JD - Nice too but more money at the time

What kind of "extra gas tank" are you getting? Also, get the steel canopy if you can

Doc - glad to hear you are enjoying your TN 70 too
