See this is your first post, welcome. Given the info you have provided I think you need a submersible pump for that depth. If you can provide some more info, is this a new well, are you replacing an existing pump etc will help us give you better answers. :)

I replaced a existing pump, the new pump worked at first but the foot valve failed, replaced foot valve and jet, pump would hold pressure, replaced all the lines.
Could it be venturie valve is incorrect had a choice of a couple ?

Chances are you've figured out the problem. With the venturis you may get volume but less pressure or pressure but less volume.:)

The injector nozzle and venturi tube size must be selected according to the pumping depth, the distance the pump is offset from the well and the size of the pump. All pump companies provide charts for proper pump and injector selection. Because of the amount of water being circulated in this type of pumping system, it is important that the proper sizes of suction and drive lines are used to maximize efficiency.

A small piece of debris will play havoc with an injector. And as stated, the injector must be sized for the pump and the job to be done.

Called the pump manufacturer he said it could be air in the lines, still no pressure

Have you pulled the pump since you first discovered the problem? If you have a split or leak in the pressure side pipe from the footvalve, it could be leaking more heavily under pressure and not allowing pressure to build. Actually, that much of a leak should be spewing enough to hear it by listening at the top of the well casing.

Thanks for al the help., I talked to the local well guy and told him that it would only get to 45 lbs and he thought I had something in my jet. Thanks Kay Supply you nailed it

FYI those pumps are low quality to start with, that may be all it will do. Normally, with a plug jet, the pump will only do about 30 psi.

Might just have to set the pressure switch down to 45/20 and live with it, or get a real water well pump. The avg. lifespan for that pump is about 2 years, or just after the warranty expires.
