Well vintage horizontal bandsaw motor retro fit

Hey it's been a while. Pick up a Well's 8-m-40 horizontal band saw which has a 550v 3 ph. 1/2 hp motor which I need to swap out for a 1/2 or 3/4 hp 110v motor. The motor mount to the frame is a face casting which cinches to a 1 1/4" pin. Any ideas to retro fitting a new motor. Anyone have this type of saw and done something similar.

If there is a tag on the motor it should give you a frame number,,
