I just wanted to pass on an outstanding experience I had with ordering some used parts for my L3710HST from Wengers of Myerstown. I ordered an oil cooler and and HST suction filter from them about 2 months ago. I received them quickly but was unable to install them due to my tractor being back in TN at the time. When I went to put them on this past weekend I heard something rattling around in the oil cooler when I moved it, so I turned it upside down and shook it for a while pretty hard. I had 2 pieces of metal fall out of the inlet/out tube, about 1/4 the size of a pencil eraser. Needless to say I didn't install it.
I called Wengers this AM and spoke with Ben in the tractor parts dept and explained the situation. He said, no problem and refunded the $ I paid for the cooler directly back to my credit card and apologized! Wow! I was well beyond the 30 day return policy but he did the right thing, right away without any grief. I don't blame them for the bad part. I know they part out all kinds of tractors in all types of condition and can not fully inspect every part.
Anyway, I just wanted to pass on a positive story about a merchant that some of you may need to use to find used tractor parts. They will be my first stop for used parts from here on out.
