We did it. We are now a full service ASV dealer with the RC-50's, RC-60's, SR-70's, SR-80's and RC-100's in stock. Well, in stock on Monday as that is when our first loads arrive. I just don't know how I will make it through the weekend waiting.

How many here have ASV's or are a dealer. Thoughts?

Thanks,
Maka

Maka, I like yourself will be new to the ASV market on the 27th (new job start date) however, from what I have seen I have been very impressed with their products and people seem to think highly of them. By looking at specs I don't think there is any other piece of tracked equipment on the market that can offer the equipment ASV does. Good luck and keep us posted!

I'm not a dealer but I am a casual user and I think ASV has the best thing out there. The trick is to get a current wheeled skid-steer user to try one. After renting an ASV to do some landscape work last year I would never rent anything else.

The original positrak was (is) awesome, there was an ad showing a guy up to the top of his rubber boots in a mud pit and you could still see the bottom part of the track of the positrak next to him.

They build the undercarriage for CAT tracked loaders too. Supposedly CAT has an option to buy them, I think they own a small part now.

Congratulations.

Yes, they sell undercarriages to Cat and Cat did own a small % of ASV but I think ASV bought all of those back. ASV is growing by leaps and bounds.

We will not be carrying Daewoo at this time. ASV really seems to be far more mature in marketing support, product support, product quality and all else. Daewoo will probably be a viable product soon and maybe down the line we will do something but we opted to do ASV as I think that the market up here will be strong for them and we will get the support from the factory we really want.

I guess I was just being nosy, I think the ASV is a wonderful product.

I personally want a JCB robot for the side door feature, but if I was looking for a tracked machine, ASV would be towards the top of the list.

No problem. It was a good question. I think in time Daewoo will like I said be viable. In fact they said they too will have a tracked machine in a year or so. We will see.

ASV really wanted our business, they did what they said they would do, have been prompt and really professional in all dealings and all the dealers I have spoken to really like working with them.

I just can't wait to get them Monday.

Thanks

Congratulations, Maka! Now you can provide tasty and juicy gossip. (haha, no, just kidding -- I respect your business ethics far more than that!)

At any rate, best wishes for continued success.
