Went to a Pyrotechnics convention a few weeks ago....

It was in LaPorte, Indiana put on by the PGI (Pyrotechnics Guild International). Saw some of it 4 years ago last time they were here.... we were drawn by the noise of explosions... we live 17 miles away!

PGI - 216 Convention

Anyhow, its a week long. There's 4 shows open to the public. Every night there's competitions and demonstrations, etc... pretty much non-stop fireworks from 8:30pm until after midnight.

So, this is how they opened the last show of the week.... make if full screen, turn up the volume, and ENJOY!

Great. I then watched a copuple of your clips with logging tongs. Just got mine (the same ones) lasst spring. Just thinking of all the contortions and digging I did over the years trying to get a chain around a log....
