Today I went to pickup my new 1758. After I signed the papers I pulled it onto my trailer and it staled out. Cranked it a few times would not start. Finally got it to start and backed off my trailer drove it around, and then staled out again. Long story short I told them I didn't want it and the dealer was great and agreed to give me my money back. Im not sure anybody had this issue but would like to hear from other 1700 owner

My 1736 that I purchased last fall has run and started fine although I only have about 15 hours on it as its primary intended usage is for snow removal and we didn't get much of that this year.

Did the dealer say he could try and fix the issue, but I guessing at that point you were not very interested.

Get him to prep a different machine, take that one, be on your way. Not like you don't have a need for the tractor- why else would you have purchased the first one?
Sorry you had a bad delivery experience; it can happen, now let it go and go get a tractor. Worse case, go to a different brand, say Kioti ;)

I sold a bobcat ct450 for this machine. Im staring to regret selling it. Bobcat was a great machine and always worked. I was looking at the kioti nx and rx they seem to have issues to. Cant win

I think the Massey would have been a great tractor, (maybe not as great as the one you traded in :)) but you just got one with some kind of issue. Sounds like bad fuel or a blockage in the fuel delivery system of some kind. For all we know a kid threw a handful of dirt in the tank. Why not have it repaired under warranty or have the dealer get another one? By all accounts the Massey (Iseki) machines are great machines.

That's odd. They're walking away from a sale. Surely there is more to the story.

This sounds pretty ridiculous LOL...

Most likely it was the seat switch. If not that, I'm sure it was something extremely simple, maybe a clogged fuel filter, who knows... I'm calling BS on this story.

Storys not BS. Tractor kept stalling out. They could not get it to run. Why would I lie about something like that? Later that day the dealer called me and said they would give me my deposit back so Im sure it wasn't an easy fix. I don't think anybody in there rite mind would have taken a 50,000 dollar machine if they can't keep it running. If you want Ill send over the sales slips and financing paper and dealer information you can call them and have them tell you the story. I wasn't putting massey down was just wondering if anybody else had issues like this thats all.
