I took my truck to the local Jiffy Lube because. over here, it's a royal pain in the butt to dispose of used oil. If you take the oil to someplace that has a barrel for recyling, it's usually full, and you get soaked in the backsplash. At any rate, while my truck was getting serviced, I asked if they'll change oil on anything. They said "Anything that has a lube system and has an oil filter!". After I got home, I fired up my tractor and drove it down for it's oil change. While they were picking up their jaws, I reminded them that they said "Anything". They were true to their word, and because I brought my own oil filter, they didn't charge me for the oil (My Bolens holds only two quarts in the crankcase).
While driving home, I couldn't believe how many old men were cheering me on and telling me to keep the faith! As I got read to turn onto the street that I live on, a young lady in an old pick-up truck passed, backed up, and said she can't believe how sexy my tractor is! A couple of minutes later, another lady walked up and said, "That's REALLY sexy!!" Heck! I just make Jiffy Lube the place to change my tractor's oil just for the compliments!
