Hi. Just got a new (to me) Mahindra 6500 4wd and had to order a Westendorf TA26 FEL. We installed the loader, not as easy as they make out but that's another story ,and the joystick. Now in order to operated the FEL you have to keep the lever for the aux. connection forward at the same time as you use the joystick. So needless to say if I want to use the FEL to load hay I need 3 arms if I steer at the same time. lol... There is no lock for the aux. lever. Apart from tying the lever in some fashion is there a work around. If I direct plum the hydraulics will that solve the problem. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks in advance.

Yes you need to plumb the hydraulics direct. There is a union in the pressure line from the pump that you can tap into but make sure your loader valve has a relief valve built into it.
