WESTENDORF loader/implements

To ALL:
If you are looking for a loader or implement for your tractor I advise you to look anywhere besides WESTENDORF! Their customer service is horrid!

I was looking to add a loader to my JD 855 so I searched the internet. To my surprise JD no longer makes a loader for a 855 so I had to go the aftermarket route. I settled on a Westendorf after speaking to a rep and getting the sales pitch. Some users had good things to say other not so much. Anyway I ordered loader on 3/19. Supposedly (according to rep) it would go out in 3 days. 2 weeks later I email to see what the delay was on order. I'm told this time it'll go out on 4/6. My calendar says 3 days should have been 3/22 but I'm ok with 4/6. Still no loader. I contact them again on 4/9 and am told it shipped on 4/8. A little skeptical I contact the original rep I dealt with for confirmation. Needless to say I wasn't shocked when I found out the loader was still sitting on dock at Westendorf (or so that's what I was told). They promised it would be shipped the following day. I asked for a discount since I've been waiting since 3/19 and been deceived multiple times. I'm told that owner says no! I cancelled my order and instead will be dealing with another company in hopes of better service and honesty!!!!
I strongly advise any who is shopping to AVOID..... WESTENDORF for any equipment needs. They will only disappoint and their customer service is very, very, very, very POOR.

I think the owner of Westendorf is actually a forum member here, or at least someone pretty high up in their biz. I am pretty sure I recall someone from that company responding in a thread about them a year or three ago. Not that it makes any difference though.

Thanks KEBO... I've never dealt with anyone like those guys. Reminds me of that old 80's song "TAKE THE MONEY and RUN". They shouldn't have completed the financial transaction until the shipment was made. All they had to do was stay in touch. The lying about it being delivered while it was still sitting on dock just made it all worse!!!

I don't know anything about Westendorf, so can't say anything good or bad about your experience. But, since that deal is now dead, check out Ansung. I'll bet they make a loader for your tractor and they make good stuff.
