Westendorf TA25 cylinder rebuild

Hello I have TA25 loader and am wanting to rebuild the cylinders. I am able to get the tilt/bucket rams out as they are held with a simple snap ring. However I can't figure out how to remove the lift cylinders. The end had a steel plate with two slots in it. I don't see a snap ring or how the plate is removed.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

post a picture of the rod end cap. I think that is what you wanting to know, how to get rod and piston out.
