Uhh??? Are you sure you want it up there? Maybe you could make the worlds biggest egg cup if it were a lathe but isn't that knot going to make a bunch of curvy lumber? SteveV

here she is all trimmed up so the saw will pass. I got 334 bd ft of lumber from this 7 foot pine lump, mostly 2x16 that will either make table tops or if it isn't so good after drying then concrete form boards.

I think I see the strategy now; there's more verticle travel on the saw than there is throat on the band saw so the wide part of the log points up. There's some interesting stuff on the side of the log closest to us but that will just be an edge. There was some roller conveyor last time I was over at Brentwood. SteveV
