I was cutting wood around my garden today and was dragging the logs to a spot so we can cut them up and split them for fire wood for a buddy of mine. The first tree we cut was a cherry about 20'' at the butt. We cut off a log about 22' long and that little JD skidded that sucker out. Had to use low range but we got it out, the front end was a little lite even with the 67 loader on it. A little about my JD 1985 JD 750 2 Wd needs a engine rebuild and a 67 loader R-1 rears tri rib fronts rears loaded. i' try to post pics later.

Here's my little 84 power house with 302 hours on it. Put 120 hours on it since I got it last year. It is a real work horse for its size. :D

Very nice tractor and condition! Looks like it has a nice home too! What part of the country does she reside in?

Nest time you try that, fill the bucket with some dirt to help keep the front end on the ground.

My little 750 is from the Mojave Desert in CA. Attached another picture of my little helper. She does have a special place by my dodge dully in the garage. ;)

Thanks. Have been looking at the forum about every night. Mostly looking at the attachment forum to get different ideas that I can fabricate and do more with with my JD.:D

My very first tractor was a chain drive (via pedals) Ford with authentic fake spark plug wires for my 5th birthday (July 1962). My first real tractor was a 750 and it was a great tractor.

mfrost, The Mojave is very beautiful. That looks just like the Ridgecrest/China Lake area. Been out there 4 different times and every time was during the fall; sept-oct and loved it.

LHR, fall and spring are the best time of the year. Best thing is the humidity runs about 10-20% and sun 360 days a year. Alot of workable days for my little 750.;) She is located in the Victorville area.
