What would occupy this slot next to my 3PH height lever? This is a 2012 CK35 in white.

That is where the draft control lever is on my Kioti DK.
May have been an option on the CT/CK models.

Draft Control.

Used when employing Moldboard Plows, sometimes with heavy Box Blades. As Moldboard Plows are now seldom employed, Draft Control is an option on many compact tractor models. Big Ag tractors retain Draft Control as standard equipment.

I ordered optional Draft Control on my Kubota L3560. It is a $500 kit, dealer installed.

My CK30hst doesn't have it nor was it an option. My old Ford 8n did though.

OK, yes I'm sure it wasn't available in this series.

Thanks all!

My 2008 CK 30 has the draft control knob although it is pretty flimsy and doesn't maintain the level well. I like to use it for maintaining the ride height of my bush hog when I have to raise and lower it over ditches.

I think you are missing what draft control is for. 😉

I think you are missing what draft control is for.

Either that or he's talking about the little knobby that allows you to prevent the three point from going any lower. That's what i use mine for: set the bush hog at the right height. Then after lifting it over obstacles it drops back to the right place.

I think he hit the nail on the head.
It may not be what it was designed for but it does a great job of lifting without moving your settings.

On my CK 30 there is a little knurled knob in the location the OP showed that is attached to a piece that goes across to the 3 point hitch arm lift /lower lever and can be moved up and down and tightened to stop where the 3 point hitch lever stops. I believed it was the draft control, is it not? If not then what is it? Are you not allowed to use it for anything else but plowing? I don't want to break any tractor draft laws but I don't do any plowing and would hate to have a good feature go to waste.
