I read the Sticky for oil and filters and still am unclear on which hydraulic oil to use with the R4041. I'm exploring suitable alternatives to the LSTH570 oil recommended in the manual.

Thanks for the info guys. I hope I am able to get by my dealer (80 miles) before I need the fluid but just checking to see what else would meet the specs for the R4041 Shuttle.

I just use TSC universal hydraulic oil. My dealer said any good quality hydraulic oil that is rated for wet breaks, so that is what I use.

My dealer's service manager told me to get this at Sam's club, and said it was what he uses ($42). He also said to buy Shell Rotella there as well, and tat it was cheaper there than anyplace he knew of.

I have even used the NAPA 15/40 and the TSC 15/40 bothj fleet oil.

My factory service Rep , says any good 303 tractor fluid , personally I use Shell Rotella HD , meets all the specifications
