What are your wifes doing while you are playing with tractors?

I looked at every photograph and enjoyed them all. I think her best quilt is the one over the window, the purple/lavendar. I really like the pattern, it reminds me of water and the colors are so soft and pretty.

It does amaze me that you commincate so well in English, especially since you are not using english for your work at all. You must regularly read in English to keep up your skills.

Gunnar - I notice she has 2 sewing machines -- supposedly to do different things, as in they have different capabilities -- do you have 2 tractors? Would that work as an argument for 2?

Not just an argument, a right. Tractor or sewing machine, a machine is a machine.

While when "Kubota Girl" is not on the tractor or dealing with the bird she does quilting. However you have to convince your spouses that hand piecing and hand quilting is the only way to go. A lot less fabric is required to be in stock for all hand work.

Here's a thread I can relate to.

My wife is an avid quilter - so much so she has a quilt store and does longarm quilting too!

She read the thread over my shoulder and said for you all to tell your wifes that if they want to do a block or fat quarter exchange, just let her know thru a post here.

My wife sews, and has made some very elaborate dresses for my daughter when she was small. She has several types of sewing machines which I could not explain any better than she could tell us about different types of pto's.

But, my tractor is where my cabin is so when I'm on the tractor she is usually at the cabin, sometimes sewing curtains and such, but usually with her sister who lives on the neighboring farm. They really get into 'country' type stuff. In the spring they pick blackberries and make jelly. This fall they made artichoke relish. But often as not, when i'm on the tractor she and her sister just get together and talk about goodness knows what for hours on end.

But she is also a great cook and many times after a spell on the tractor I come in to find a great meal.

Well, one of them is usually cooking while another is most often out in the garden weeding. I am not too shure what the third has been up to as I haven't seen her for a week or two - I think.
