Hi, new to the forum and could use some help identifying brand of this attachment. It's old, solid but the bearing in the tire went bad and I need to replace it.
Not idea what brand. I can see some Bush Hog (brand) traits in it. But it's kind of a pretty generic, old design. Looks like it's substantial metal! Suggestion: utilize a floating top link: example.
Laminated tail wheel? Nothing special about tail wheels.
With few exceptions, most parts on just about any mower can be replaced with "like" pieces. Take measurements and match up with various parts out there. A quick internet search popped this up (for reference- I know nothing of this outfit or of any of these parts- it's an example, only):
Pettibone, Ford, Massey Ferguson, International, JD, David Bradley, home mades
Yep get the bearing number or measure and hit tractor supply or a bearing supply and get it. I fix things all the time and dont know the brand and dont care. Just the bearing sizes. If you go to a dealer you end up paying 40 bucks for a 3 dollar bearing.
Yeah agree with DieselBound sure does look alike like a vintage Bushhog series . The gearboxes are Comer or Omni , like other members have told you many parts interchange . Looks from afar the gearbox is a rated 35 pto hp . Looks like a premium deck with those heavier braced corners .
Does not look to me like a World Agritech Corp (WAC) IM / International bush hog . Even though no one said it was , just saying . BTW International bush hog was out of Ohio not to be confused with International tractors .
See you have (OP) a Kubota L2900DT GST , that was my first tractor along with a JDGT235 . Our Kubota L2900DT GST served us well in a plant nursery operation for years . Still being used by a couple acre homeowner down here in sw Fla . Original body sheet metal looks like it went through WWIII , but mechanically still works good . Also like your roof canopy on your Bota .
